page 39. Will of Benjamin EVANS, of Martin's Brandon Parish, Prince George Co., "sick and weak".
To my son, Benjamin EVANS, one negro girl,Beck, featherbed & furnature, and half my plantation in Weynoake Parish, Charles City Co, late in possession of John WREY, but if he dies under age, then to be equally divided between my two daughters Rebecca and Mary, and if James LAWRENCE is living at the time my son is of age, then my son is to have full use of my plantation in Charles City Co., now in possession of David BLANKS and P'r (Peter)JOHNSON, during the lifetime of David LAWRENCE, and no longer.
To my daughter Rebecca, one negro boy Nick, featherbed, etc, also that tract of land in Charles City Co, now in possession of David BLANKS and Peter JOHNSON, and other half of land given to son Benjamin in Weynoake Parish.
To daughter Mary, one negro boy Wile, featherbed, etc, and all my land in Prince George Co.
To dear wife Sarah EVANS, one negro woman Jenny, and the labor and remaining part of the service of Robert DICKSON, Rest of estate to be divided between my wife and three children, and my wife to be executrix with my loving friend David JONES.

Will of Thomas HARRISON of Prince George County, dated the 2nd day of April, 1720, and proved on May 10, 1720.
Wife, Ellinor HARRISON. Daughter, Ann HAMLIN.
To grandson, Thomas HAMLIN, 10 pounds to be paid to him at the age of 21 years.
To granddaughter, Martha HAMLIN, pounds to be paid to her at the age of 18 years or marriage. Grandson, John HALL, son of Robert HALL and Elizabeth, his wife, my lease of Plantation in Martins Brandon.
Thomas HALL, son of Robert HALL and Elizabeth HALL. Daughter, Ann HAMLIN, and grandson, John HALL, son of Ann HAMLIN.
Granddaughter, Sarah HALL. To my other six grandchildren. Son-in-law, Robert HALL, named as executor with daughters, Ann HAMLIN and Elizabeth HALL, as alternates.
Witnesses were Jno. HAMERSLY, Tim BRIDGES, Thos. READ, and Richard WARTHEN.


Will of John HOBBS, Sr of Waynoak parish, Prince George Co , "sick and weak", to my daughter Mary HOBBS, 2 heifers and calf, 2 pewter dishes, iron pot, pott hooks, and chest called Here.
To my son William HOBBS, all the rest of my estate. My son Robert HOBBS to be executor.
Signed : John HOBBS wit: William HARRISON, Sarah ( S ) HOBBS Proved 11 June 1711 by witnesses and probate granted to Robert HOBBS.
