MARCH BRINGS SEMINARS AND CLASSES
An old saying goes something like the more one knows about a subject, the more one knows how little they actually do know about that subject. Therefore, the best way to discover how little one knows about genealogical
research is to attend a class or seminar on conducting genealogical research. During March a number of classes will be taught in Houston and across Texas three societies will host nationally known speakers who
will pass along some of their words of wisdom about genealogical research. The San Marcos-Hays County Genealogical Society will host their Annual Workshop from 8:30 A.M. to 4 P.M. on Saturday March 3. The
featured speaker will be, Sandra MacLean Clunies. Her topics will include: Research in Washington, DC Without Leaving Home; Evaluating Web Resources; Federal Census Research for Experienced Researchers; and New England Research for
