In The Meantime............
Work was continuing in the background as well.............I had no earthly idea as to what this was really about other than FUN..........so I scheduled a trip to Atlantic City mid-September to attend the Atlantic City Large Scale Train Show..........
The purpose of this trip was to go and see, feel, touch manufacturers and their products, meet with others and to get some ideas. While there, I was fortunate enough to meet two comrades from LSOL Chat........NJ George (Lazy Acre) and Ken  (RGS) .  They were most accommodating in showing me the various manufacturers, power suppliers, attending seminars, and providing me with their expertise and their experiences in designing layouts and what I could or could not expect................
Being a typical female...........I ended up purchasing lots of little goodies like
people 
buildings 
and things like   that I knew belonged with running trains...........
more of these goodies to come
and of course, stuff like a air sprayer for things like weathering later on............I even got to meet Mac!  Wonderful job you do there guy!
Back at home, Ken (RGS) convinced me I needed to start laying my plans on paper and I ordered Railroad Track 111.  I only had less than a month to prepare, and well, as you guessed, I didn't know the difference between 1' sections, 5' sections, 2' sections, ...20' radius curves, 10' radius curves, or any of the components that made them all fit together or made things go..............what I wound up with was a bunch of little lines, all squiggled onto the page, that made absolutely no sense to me what so ever.  Anyone else for that matter!
That is where these two guys came in...........So, many many e-mails between Ken (RGS), Jerry Huber (CGGRS Member), and myself............this is what we arrived at :
