If There Be Thorns
I thought this book was a little dull, and the only important parts where the beginning and the end. It is crucial to the storyline however. I was amazed at the emotions conjured by the words of VC Andrews, and the lessons that can be learned about forgiveness, and just how fragil we all really are.

Seeds of Yesterday
By far the most compelling book in the series, and sadly the last notes in the song of one family. It's all about how we make it through life, and more importantly, what we leave behind when we go. Through all the misery of the Dollanganger family, it looks like things will be looking up for the future. It's about rebirth and acceptance. You won't forget it.

Garden of Shadows
OK rewind back to the years of before Flowers in the Attic. If you thought you would never hear reason to the endless lies and secrets, this book will make sense of it all. You can even learn secrets that the family will never live to know, and how the actions of one can inflict scars that last a lifetime.
