Rick Roberts' King Kozy Progress Page #3

11 January 1998

Well, the King is still outside, of course it never rains in southern California unless your airplane project is sitting in the drive way. I finally got my canopy made! It only took three tries, but my son got some really cool forts in the process. (Or at least he thinks so.) I've basically completed the engine cowling (even though it doesn't look much different). Things are going pretty good, a little success goes a long way to boost your confidence.

The oven I made for canopy and post-curing.

The canopy tool.

The finished canopy before trimming.

It never rains in San Diego! (Unless you want to work on your airplane!)
