Since I bought both of my trainers already built my Super Sportster 40 is the first aircraft I built. I began this aircraft before I ever started training and since I knew nothing about building an aircraft it took me over a year to build. I would complete a few steps and then have to find out what the next step was. It did turn out nice in the end. I maidened it on Sept. 28, 1997 at the club Picnic. After a few trim adjustments it flew great. It only has about 4 flights on it so I don't quite have the landing down yet.
