The Wing Banner, with our very own Cadet Warrant Officer as escort. She's just got back from St. James' Palaces after receiving her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
The very same CWO receiving her Warrant from Station Commander RAF Leeming, and ex 1196 Squadron cadet.
Here is the Group Captain again exchanging a joke with a cadet on parade.
The Presentation Evening in March 1998. The squadron was honoured to have the MP Martin Bell as our guest. Thanks for all your support Martin! The Boss is the one with 2 heads to the left of Martin.
The squadron was visited by some birds of Prey in February. See which one you think is the most fierce creature...
Our beloved seniorest NCO takes a lesson. There WILL be trouble if they get this wrong!
And here we are with the lads from 2137 Squadron attacking the Assault Course at the Army Training camp at Altcar...
...and that's REAL barbed wire folks!
Here we are after exploring the Ukranian airforce "Candid" transport on an exchange visit to RAF Lyneham in May. The cadets were allowed to climb all over the aircraft!
Still at Lyneham and we spent a couple of nights bowling. Yes that IS a member of staff smiling!
A Cadet is given some instructions on a sortie in a Vigilant motor glider at RAF Ternhill
