Definición: Combining the idea that energy, and nothing but energy -- in one state or another -- exists in the universe with the idea that consciousness cannotbe fully explained by the current laws of physics leads one to speculateon the existence of energy in an as yet undetected state: `Conscious Energy.' If we look at the major developments in modern physics we see a trend whichalso points us in this direction. First, consider the `fast.' Although inconceivable to physicists, Newton's Laws were found to be inadequate, for objects moving near the speed of light: Relativity was born. Next consider the `small.' Again, the classical laws of physics as they were known and understood were found to be inadequate as physics moved in thisrealm: Quantum Mechanics was born. Now we are exploring the `complex.' Since studying the `fast' and the `small' lead to new realms, isn't it extremely naive to assume that studying the `complex' will not lead usinto a new realm? On the other hand, isn't it also naive to assume that we will never be able to explain what we find -- even with new laws? These ideas suggest that deep within the synergy of complex entities such as the human brain, `fields' of energy, `conscious energy,' emerge that have new properties, not fully explained by the laws of physics as currently known. Maybe the `self-conscious energy' present in the human brain wil not (under certain conditions) be subject to the decay of entropy as othe rthings are. Let's pause for a moment to observe the trend of how energy evolved into increasing consciousness and complexity: Radiation -> matter-> animals -> humans. The most sensible way to think about this process is to view it as energy evolving through a series of states. Humans are part of this process.
