The Lamesa Fire Department is committed to preserving the lives and property of the citizens of Lamesa and Dawson County. The department carries out this commitment through education, prevention and hazardous
materials management backed up by rapid response for fire suppression and rescue of victims.
Objectives Of The Lamesa Fire Department
Prevent fires from starting.
Prevent loss of life and property when a fire starts.
To confine the fire to the place it started.
To extinguish the fire.
