Ham Radio....

Bought the Argonaut 509 new for about $250. The 509 has a very hot receiver and performs as well today as it did in the late 70's when I acquired it. The bandspread on 10 meter cw is a bit limited and it does not do the WARC bands, but other than that it is a terrific rig .

This is my Ten Tec ARGOSY that has a nifty slide switch on the back that lets you go from 50 watts out down to about 5 watts out.

Picked up this OMNI 5 back in November of 2003. It is one of the best CW rigs I have ever used.

Here is the Pegasus and the GateWay Pentium 166Mhz computer that controls it. The display on the monitor is the control for the transciever.

Here is the latest and greatest addition to my line up. It is the Argonaut 516 or also known as the Argonaut 5. My kids gave it to me for my 60th birthday. It is a terrific rig that can go from about 3 watts up to 20 watts and has a general coverage rx in it. The DSP is excellent and the reciever is very hot .
