Jeff, Robbin, Amber and Ronnie's Rocket Page

Here is our fleet of High Power Rockets, at least most of them. Some are being repaired or completed, but these are survivors ready to go again. You can click on the picture for the big pic. I'll try to name them off from left to right. Aerotech G-Force, Ronnies first Built-all-by-Himself PML Tomahawk, PML Matrix, Aerotech something.., The Yellow and green thing is one I cooked up, it hasn't flown yet. We went out to the Md. launch, but the wind was blowing to hard. OK, the small one is a Launch Pad Kit, next is a PML Pteradactyl, then my level 2 cert rocket, the Bull Dog. The last rocket is the dependable Miranda, my first HP rocket, Level 1 cert rocket, and (Knock on Wood), it keeps coming back.

Here is most of our Model Rockets. I plan on putting pictures of each up some day, with a little info, but don't hold your breath quite yet. I'll have to have extra free time, so it might be awhile. You can click the pic for a closer view if you'd like.

This is the Bull Dog getting ready for its first flight, along with my Level 2 Cert.

Amber and I are waiting in line to get to the pads while watching the other flights.

Off to a perfect start. Everything went very smooth on the way up, with very little weather cock, which I was a bit worried about.

Here I am carrying the Bull Dog back after a successful flight. I didn't get any pictures of the descent because I was to worried about the rocket. The chute shroud lines got caught in the guidance fins, and then untangled about 100 feet above the ground. The Bull Dog landed no more than 75 feet from the pad, after a flight of aprox. 3500 Feet! You can see Rodger preping his Brutus Exp. behind me.

Here's Ambers Rocket the Pterydactyl Jr. We have already gotten it ready and put it on the pad here.

A very successful first flight for Ambers first High Power launch. She did most of the work on the rocket herself, and much of the prepping before the flight.

Here's Ronnie getting one of his 2 stage rockets ready for flight.

Amber and I getting the G-Force Set up. It had another great flight.

This is Ambers first rocket she built mainly by herself. It is an Estes Firestar.

Amber and I, with four of our rockets. From left to right, a quest Mantra, and Estes Black Brant II with custom paint job, an Estes Big Bertha and an Estes Venom.
These are our Mid-power rockets, which range in Engine size from E to G, except the Estes Mean Machine on the far right, which takes a D. Some of these still need a paint job, but it's been to cold to paint here this winter, so we just put them together and launch if the wind is calm until summer.

This is Amber's favorite rocket, and the first one we built. I forget the name of the kit, but its by Estes, and flys on the mini engines. It flys almost as high as some of our bigger rockets on a 1/4 A engine.
