"When Cameron was in Egypt's land,
  Let my Cameron go…"

IN BRIEF:

By day, Cameron Murg is a student at Grosse Pointe South High School - a school made famous by its Tennessee marble architectural accents, "ShowStoppingly" wasteful choir program, and a certain sharp-witted biology teacher of German descent. Outside of the classroom, Murg maintains a low profile while engaging in high risk escapades of international espionage and authoring a substantial body of literature under the nom de plume "Thomas Pynchon." Additionally, the high school junior is credited with initiating the popularity of the color orange, recently dubbed by
Vogue magazine as "the color of the millenium." Murg honed his exquisite tastes at a young age and still maintains an affinity for such quirky gourmet fare as strawberries with powdered sugar, orange Tic-Tacs, Hot Pockets, orange Bubble Yum gum, and individually wrapped chocolate chip granola bars.

Murg is credited with averting a potential crisis in Franco-American relations when in the summer of 1993 he alleviated tensions between American and French students participating in an exchange program by introducing them to pizza rolls, a favorite late night snack. His diplomatic prowess has been recognized by the Clinton administration and Madeline Albright continues to call upon Murg in an advisory capacity. "Cameron is a secret weapon in American relations with France, a true francophile and a consummate, if unofficial, ambassador." Despite his international extra-curricular activities, Murg has reportedly struggled to gain legitimacy in high school French classes due to the curricular focus on now aging pop sensation Jordy and
Le Journal des Enfants. "I'm not sure that one should devote a close reading to Paris Match, let alone get extra credit for it," he commented in an interview with Agence France Presse in December.

When Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs recently found himself in legal trouble, his lone phone call was reportedly made to Murg (on a StarTec in a bejeweled Louis Vuitton case); the two are rumored to be "finishing the paperwork" for O'Hario Productions, a multi-media company that will "transcend the boundaries of music, film, fashion, and publishing." Murg's ever-broadening circle reportedly includes a triumvirate of uberscenes. According to Combs, "Cam's down with the South Beach clan and is equally at home in New York or L.A." Murg's affiliation with New York society reportedly stems from the social connections of his older sister, Stephanie, currently a student at Harvard. Recently befriended by hotelier Ian Schrager for her innovative writing and "living collages" (that have also caught the attention of Larry Rivers and several NYC galleries), Stephanie attended the December opening of the 57th Street LVMH Tower on the arm of Ben Affleck and has since been seen cavorting at Moomba with an array of pashmina-clad city types. She is reported to be working on a couture collection with Alexander McQueen that embodies the spirit of the Roald Dahl classic "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." No word yet on whether the aesthetic of the 1970 Gene Wilder film will be prominent.
