Here are some very basic ramblings of mine on cyclic groups, but they're still at a very early stage, so sorry for any errors...
Right, that was the bit that was supposed to help spread information about my PhD research more widely; now for some of my favourite pages:
Satellite weather maps can be useful. The ones I like best are of Western Europe and North Africa, and a colour image from Meteo France. Talking about news headlines and weather forecasts, I reckon I can just about squeeze my link to the BBC Web Server into this paragraph as well.
There's lots of pretty pictures knocking around the web, and indeed around the net in general, but my favourites are Ascii stuff and Fractal stuff.
Now for my "memory lane" section. I used to love playing with LEGO when I was little, but my Mum wants to hold on to my old LEGO sets for when children who are currently little visit her and Dad. She's probably right, and I suppose it was all shared with my sister anyway... Moving on though; we had a ZX-Spectrum computer. In fact we've still got it, plus a couple of others which had become unwanted by their previous owners, but they're all at my parents' house too. We've also got a ZX81, so here's the best I could do for a ZX81 home page.
Briefly now, I've got a link for that game Nomic, the one where you're supposed to change the rules as you go along. Speaking of games, there's lots of computer games information at the Games Domain.
On the maths side of things I've included links to the New York Journal of Mathematics and the MathSearch database. The Abstract Algebra On Line pages are worthwhile - good definitions etc.
I also have another home page on my ISP's server (currently One.Tel).
