Studies and activities focus on the Brown Pelican, a once threatened animal, who leads students on an adventure to investigate the marine food chain, water quality, animal habitats, and weather.

Project Pelican encourages students to build on their own experiences, to take risks, and to make discoveries through active exploration of hands-on learning in the Pelican's Nest Science Lab.
