Gordon Reublin learned to fly in 1932 in a Fleet biplane with a Kinner 5 cylinder radial engine after having won a flight scholarship through an essay contest. The essay was judged by Amelia Earhart and the scholarship was presented to him by Ms. Earhart. Dad is a member of The AAHS, Silver Wings, Golden Wings and a proud member of the OX5 society, having flown aircraft with OX5 engines. He has been active in aviation for nearly 70 years and still flys with some of his friends from the Golden Age Of Aviation. This page is dedicated to the spirit of my Dad and all the aviation pioneers who have made aviation what it is today.
