How did you find us?: Looking for Roscoe Turner

Comments:
No I was not named for Roscoe Turner's Lion. I knew Mr. Turner late in his life and sold him the last set of automobile tires that he purchased prior to his passing. Mr. Turner drove a station wagon, a far cry from the speed demons that he flew to race vi tories. My only regret is that we did not talk more of those years, but he knew too many racers that paid with their lives at a very young age. He owned and operated Turner Aviation at the Indianapolis Airport. He was a very down to earth man not one to b ow his own horn.

Mr. Zeller flew Ford Tri-Motors in the late 20's, and was killed in 1930 or 1931 either flying a tin goose, or at either the Thompson, Coller, or Cleveland Air Races. Zeller's Ford Tri-Motor carried the NC number 3041. If you have any information in your files regarding this pilot or his aircraft I would appericate hearing from you. Thank You David C.
