LAFAYETTE ESCADRILLE SQUADRON

Welcome to the Lafayette Escadrille Squadron (LE) Home Page. We offer historical information on the Lafayette Escadrille Squadron that served in France during WW1.

Our Historical Information Page is dedicated to those WW1 pilots who risked all to defend their country and beliefs. This is not to say that we condone or glorify war and the horrors that haunt history in it's aftermath. WW1 is a part of world history and this site in an unofficial capacity, will collate information on the creation of the LE squadron, the pilots, and their exploits. Eventually, there will be a comprehensive list of links to web sites that hold information directly related to the Lafayette Escadrille Squadron.
