Background Information

The information in these pages has been extracted from two sources:

1. The background information provided to my classes for their studies of the tree lupin (Lupinus arboreus) and the woodlouse (Porcellio scaber).
2. The results of literature research and experimental studies carried out by my students.

Purpose

The purpose of these pages is to provide some background ideas as well as suggestions for experimental investigations. The selected graphs of results provide some guidance as to what other students have achieved. A formal lab report will be expected to have much more detail regarding raw data, observations and processing of results than is shown by these summary graphs.
