The tentative date for the club AirShow is July the 19th. Please plan to attend and lend a hand even if your not flying we still need your help.
Tuesdays will continue to be Glider days as the number of sailplane fanatics continues to grow.
The clubs By-Laws will be not be changed this year.
The new old winner of the Dork award is none other than our fearless leader, Mark Sexton who learned some very valuable lessons about HUSKY's Gravity, Aerodynamics, tall weeds and a brief moment of indecision.
If anyone would like to buy a Club shirt or hat please drop me a line. They will be for sale at the club airshow but not to the general public.
Another matter of great importance is Paying Club Dues. It is that time again that we have to remind those that have perhaps forgotten or over looked this important matter. If you happen to be in this minority group please contact one of the club's ofiicers to get this matter resolved. Continued non-compliance will result in your name being dropped from the News Letter mailing list for right now with stronger measures being taken in the future..
The club has been informed by our landlord, John Naylor, that the land just west of our runway has been sold. We will need to keep this in mind as now there will be a house back there in the woods to the NW of the field. Everyone of us needs to be aware of this and to not fly over the tree's. Lets not make a new enemy and loose our field.
