The July 1998 meeting of the MCRCC will be held on Wednesday the 8^th at 7:00 PM in the Cook, Inc. building located at 925 So Curry Pike.

GENERAL:Attendance at last months meeting was 18. Not too shabby but I know we can do better.

Sorry for the late News Letter but I've been busy hosting the GyroNUTS 98 Autogyro Fly-in. We had 23 pilots from 17 states, 2 fellas from Cananda and 38 models of various types and configurations... Many thanks to all the club members who stopped by and lended a hand. This was the largest autogyro fly-in ever held! I will host the next gyro fly-in again next year and Mr. Phil Harris from Tillsonberg, Ontario will host the GyroNUTS 2000 fly-in in Tillsonberg following the Canadian Nationals.

The tentative date for the club AirShow is July the 19^th. Please plan to attend and lend a hand. Even if your not flying we still need your help to Razzle Dazzle the general public. If you would like to fly in the airshow please contact either Bob Watson or Joe Jackson... I'm sure that they would appreciate the help.

Tuesdays will continue to be Glider days as the number of sailplane fanatics continues to grow.

Please welcome Mr. Charlie Thompson to our ranks of expert flyers. Charlie has been a member of the AMA for many years and has recently joined our club. Charlie currently resides in Martinsville, In.

The new old winner of the Dork award is none other than our fearless leader, Mark Sexton who learned some very valuable lessons about the HUSKY's Gravity & Aerodynamics, tall weeds and a brief moment of indecision.

If anyone would like to buy a Club shirt or hat please drop me a line. They will be for sale at the club airshow but not to the general public.

JULY 19^th - Club Airshow. ( Tentative date - although at this point somewhat concrete)

AUGUST 2^nd - Hoosier Valley Flyers IMAA Big Bird Fly-in.

SEPTEMBER 12^th thru 13^th - Atterbury Big Bird Fly-in.
