The September 1998 meeting of the MCRCC will be held on Wednesday the 9th at 7:00 PM in the Cook, Inc. building located at 925 So Curry Pike. The regular entrance to the R&D building is now open.

GENERAL NEWS:
Phylis Naylor is doing much better now and has been seen running around from time to time.

Attendance at last months meeting was 17.

We had one fella re-join the club after a lengthy absence. Mr. Dave Pisoni. Welcome back Dave! Our newest member is Mr. Jeff Regnier from Unionville. Welcome to the ranks Jeff...

A subject for discussion at this months meeting will be the Clubs annual picnic. If you have any ideas as to who, what, where and when, please be sure to bring it up at the next meeting.

Tuesdays will continue to be Glider days as the number of sailplane fanatics continues to grow. This past Tuesday 5 of our finest showed up and enjoyed a super afternoon of glider flying and having a great time shooting the breeze. (pun intended)

If anyone would like to buy a Club shirt or hat please drop me a line. The shirts sell for $21.50 and the hats are $9.00.

Another point of interest that has surfaced recently is flight safety. How often do you check your flight pack batteries while at the field? Regardless of how long you left them on the charger the night before, it pays to check them at the field periodically.
