I would like to announce that Ken Baldridge past away on Aug 9th and was laid to rest on Aug 12th. Ken was the clubs first lifetime member and had been involved in the hobby for over 40 years.
I would like to welcome John Pullen as our newest member.
Many thanks to Marty Basset for staining the clubs shelter house. Marty chose the hottest day of the year to do this.
Recently there have been a few non-club members that have been spotted using our field and when approached have become aggressive in nature to the point of refusing to leave the area. In the future if these individuals are encountered again please try to get their names and or license plate numbers so we can get a lead on these fellas. To combat these evil villains it would be advisable to contact the sheriff's office if you have a cell phone or radio. This is just about our only defense against such people. I'm sure this topic will be of great interest at the next meeting.
September 19th has been chosen for the clubs annual pitchin dinner and fly what you brought day. Please plan to attend.
Brent Hoover is looking into securing the Chapmans restaurant as the place to be for our annual Christmas dinner.
The clubs air show will be held in October 3rd this year. Bruce Hoffman is in charge of organizing this year's event and has requested help in securing pilots. Everyone is invited to participate no matter what type of plane you have or your flying skill. If you are interested please contact Bruce at 812-876-6219.

The only requirement is that you join the Yahoo Groups and become a registered user. Its FREE and no personal information need be provided if you do not want it made public.
The message board is a GREAT place to post items you have for sale and make some general announcements.
