Many thanks to all that attended the clubs picnic outing and made it work. Much fun was had by all.
I would like to thank everyone who attended the Nothin but Cubs flyin. Everyone had a good time but it would have been better had they not chosen to pick beans that day. The winds were high and all the chaff blew in from across the road. There were 19 fellas that attended.
Many thanks to Bruce Hoffman for organizing this year’s airshow and to all that participated and helped make it successful. All that was needed was more of a crowd, and a special thanks goes out to Mark Sexton and Dave Polland for the entertainment. I guess this means that Dave will once again inherit the Dork award.
Congratulations to Brent Hoover for winning the clubs fun fly event with a power plane. Don't ever underestimate a glider pilot.
Brent Hoover is looking into securing the Chapmans restaurant as the place to be for our annual Christmas dinner.
An event calendar can be accessed from the clubs Website. Please follow the link on the main page to get there. Anyone can use this Calendar and make a posting to a message board. The only requirement is that you join the Yahoo Groups and become a registered user. Its FREE and no personal information need be provided if you do not want it made public.
The message board is a GREAT place to post items you have for sale and make some general announcements.
