The December 1999 meeting of the MCRCC will be held on Wednesday the 8th at Chapman’s restaurant. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6:30 with dinner being served at 7:30. If you are planning on attending please call Mark Sexton or Brent Hoover and let them know how many people will be attending. It is important that we get an accurate head count. Dinner is going to cost around $21.00 a head (this includes tax & tip). Kids under 12 are half price, under 4 are free.
GENERAL: Attendance at last months meeting was 17.The club officers for 2000 will be Mark Sexton: President; Brent Hoover: Secretary; and Bruce Hoffman: Vice President.

For many of us the end of the flying season is just around the corner but before you put your fire breathing dragons away for the winter remember to clean out the fuel tanks and run some after run oil through the crankcase to prevent rust build-up. You might even want to take the time to repair any loose covering material or broken articles as well. There's no time like the present to make sure your model gets the attention it needs now rather than 4 months from now after you've forgotten about all the problems.
MCRCC will be hosting a SWAP SHOP. The date is set at Saturday, February 26, 2000. The event will be held once again at the Monroe County Fairgrounds in the Community Building. Pricing info is unavailable at the time of this newsletter. Come on down to the 2nd annual MCRCC Swap Shop!
An event calendar can be accessed from the clubs Website. Please follow the link on the main page to get there. Anyone can use this Calendar and make a posting to a message board. The only requirement is that you join the Yahoo Groups and become a registered user. Its FREE and no personal information need be provided if you do not want it made public.
The message board is a GREAT place to post items you have for sale and make some general announcements.
There is also a photo album section there. Anyone can post a photo of what ever subject (model airplane club related please) they want! We have made several albums for you to add your photo... or you can make your own!
Please try to keep photos limited to 50k or less. We have only 5 meg of space available to post photos and it'll go fast.
If anyone would like to buy a Club shirt or hat please drop Brian a line. The shirts sell for $21.50 and the hats are $9.00.
