Cockpit Cam

Our Cockpit Cam is a live view from a WebCam mounted on the forward end of the Flight Deck of the Star Sailor 1 simulator.  The door that is often visible to the left is the entrance to the Mid Deck area of the simulator.

During a launch or landing you'll see the Astronaut Crew outfitted in their orange Launch and Entry Suits.  At other times, you may see the crew performing experiments, deploying a satellite, or eating, sleeping, or performing routine "space maintenance" chores." 

During non-mission times, the camera will probably  be turned off, but we try to leave it on for most of the training evolutions that take place as early as four weeks prior to a launch.
