Quack! Quack!

·         I’m proud of all of you for all of the hard work you’ve been doing.  Keep it up and we WILL get to hear those sweetest of all words in the world:  “Wheel Stop.  Rollout Complete!”

·         The discussion section that I showed you on our web site is not working right now.  I’ll work on it and try to get it fixed soon.

·         PFT this Friday morning.  No phone calls home for tennis shoes, etc.  Rainy weather will postpone the PFT to later in the afternoon or Mon.

·         Let’s start getting serious about memorizing acronyms now!  We need to memorize all of the acronyms and terms that start with the letter “A” by Wednesday.  Five people will be quizzed.  Remember that for now you don’t need to know what they mean, only what they stand for.  For example, you need to that APU stands for “Auxiliary Power Unit.”  You DON’T need to know what an Auxiliary Power Unit is or what it does or why it’s important.  That part will come a little later.

Memorizing these acronyms is one of the hardest things you’ll do, but it’s also one of the most important!

Quote of the Day  (QOD)

“Always do more than is required of you."

--General George S. Patton

One of the greatest generals in history.  He led the United States’ Third Army to huge victories against the Germans during World War II even though the enemy often had many more weapons and soldiers.
