STS-4 Messages for November 6

 

• Congratulations to all who put forth their very best effort on the PFT last Friday.  I’m proud of all of you.

 

• Remember that all of the acronyms and terms need to be memorized by Wednesday.  There WILL be a “fiver quiz” (a five person quiz like we talked about).  Work with each other to make sure you have these.  Some people use index cards to make flashcards.  This is very helpful and definitely worth the time it takes to make them.

 

• If you want to work ahead, the BIG acronym quiz will be right before Christmas Break starts.  Everyone will take that one and it will be over all of the acronyms.

 

• I will try to have Dream Sheets ready Friday.

In spaceflight the phrase "Communicate and anticipate" is used over and over again. What does this mean and why do you think it is important? You may need the help of a dictionary and it’s probably going to be very helpful to talk this over with several other people. Share ideas and give a very thoughtful answer!

 

Explain in an essay and turn in by Wednesday morning.
