Perhaps an introduction is necessary first.my name is John Guthrie (obviously).  I am a college freshman, attending  the exciting University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. However, I am from Valdez, Alaska (where I spent most of my life). I'm not really sure why I wrote this page or why I spend time on it, but as for the moment, it is the most constructive hobby I happen to have, so I guess I'll stick with it for a while and maybe eventually I'll design a site that looks halfway decent.  Anyway, from here, I'll have a variety of links to other parts of this page and things i like, etc etc. (the basic stuff), plus anything else I can think of remotely interesting to put up here.  Plus, it's really neato.

Updated 4/10:  Where does time go?  I seriously have little clue.  I'm almost done with my freshman year in college.  Three years down the road, I'll be getting a job and entering the real world.  Let's talk scary.  It's been a weird year.  I'm excited to go home (let's hope it stays that way because I'll be there for three months).  Mainly, I'm going to change a few things on this page in the next few minutes but nothing major.  It will still look shitty.  So be warned.  However, I would like to thank everyone who has came here or comes here because it means a lot to me.  Chances are you are important in my life and you mean a lot to me, so thank you.  It means the world to me.
