Delaware Virtual Airlines, Inc. is the holding company of the virtual airlines Delaware Virtual Airlines, New England Airlines, and Palmetto Virtual Airlines.
Delaware VA (often referred to as DelawAIR) is an airline based in the city of Wilmington, Delaware(*). Out of the New Castle County Airport in Wilmington, and the Denver International Airport, it operates the Boeing 767-300, 767-300, and 737-700, Airbus A320 and A321, McDonnell Douglas 90, Canadair RJ 200 and 700, and Embraer 120. From its regional hub in Dover, Delaware, it flys two Cessna 414A Chancellors. This provides over 550 scheduled daily departures to 42 US states, 4 Canadian provinces, plus Bermuda and the Bahamas. There is also a charters department, offering service anywhere across the US and Canada, with a state of the art Learjet 35A's and Gulfstream IV's. DelawAIR also operates a cargo division working as a part of the Civil REserve Fleet of the AMC out of Dover AFB, flying to Travis AFB, CA, and Ramstein AFB in Germany, among others.
DelawAIR is the only scheduled air carrier to be based in the state of Delaware, real or virtual, and one of the very few to even serve the state. It has been flying the virtual skies since August 1, 1997 with the goal of serving the quality people of Delaware with a quality airline. As a certified airline of the IVAA and GASC, and winner of the Battle of the Airlines and WVAA VA of the Month, it has done so. The DelawAIR Corporation of airlines is reknowned for it's realism, great pilots, and passenger service. Please visit our online hub if you are interested in joining us, or if you're just curious about how we work, or even if you want to buy a ticket. Thank you.

* Delaware is a state on the east coast of the United States, to the south of Philadelphia, PA, and New York City, NY; to the north of Norfolk, VA; and to the east of Washington, DC. Its capital city is Dover, in the center of the state, and the largest city is Wilmington, at the northern end on the Delaware River. We realize that many people have no idea what or where Delaware is (no we didn't make it up), and this is part of the reason we are based here. We, as residents, also hope this encourages you to find out more about the "first state."
DelawAIR is not a real airline, we operate only for fun on the Flight Simulator system, sorry for any confusion.
* What is a virtual airline? A VA is a group of flight simmers that pretend to fly like a real airline. We "own" our own variety of planes, of course with our own paint scheme, and have scheduled service to multiple destinations. This is done to increase the general interest of the Flight Simulator product, as well as make it much more enjoyable for all of us by creating a purpose to flying around the virtual world.
