Lilliput Model Railway

Lilliput is a 50 year old model railway based on New Zealand Railways and runs "one of a kind" historic, hand built, locomotives. All types from early NZ steam through to modern diesels, and also the rolling stock, can be seen on this fascinating layout. Lilliput is also made special by the tiny details. There are over 80 animated features ranging from moving vehicles to men working and ships rocking. Lilliput is open every day of the year except for Christmas Day from 10:00am to 4:30pm.
