St. John 4: 24 states:

"God is a spirit and they that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

I pointed out to him that the New American Bible translates Chapter 2: 17, as:

"...he came to bring the good news of peace."

My King James version translates it as:

(verse 16): And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
"And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh."

Chapter 2, verses 11-13, says:

"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ."

Hartley Coleridge, in 'Liberty', says:

"But what is freedom? Rightly understood,
A universal license to be good."1

Sir, i have noted President Mubarak's order to restrict condemnation of the other Arab nations in the Egyptian press in recent weeks. As i trust that he has knowledge of my October 6, 1981 letter and has knowledge of the contents of the March 2, 1980 report (which mentioned our friend Anwar Sadat often as a Moslem), and as i assume that he has knowledge of the circumstances of September, 1978, i feel that this action anticipates and clarifies an Egyptian Moslem statement about the death of our friend...in light of the forthcoming disclosure.
