f) copy of page containing the February 21, 1984 Globe and Mail article, "Canada seeks Central America role," and the February 23, 1984 Vancouver Sun column by Pete McMartin (Cityside), "No kisses for Henry Kissinger."¹
g) copy of the February 3, 1984 Globe and Mail article, "Polish officials dismiss charge of harassment."

The copies of this to be submitted to Mr. Illingworth and Mr. Bewley this weekend will also have copies of the February 15, 1984 letter from Mr. Mulroney's office and the February 24, 1984 Globe and Mail article, "Clark strongly backs Trudeau's peace bid," attached, with a statement i will provide Ms. Carney with a copy of in future.

Premier Bennett, Mssrs. Barrett and Lauk, and Bishop de Roo will be somewhat reassured by the action by Ms. Carney evidenced in Mr. Mulroney's office's letter to me. I'll let them know very shortly.
