Man Under Law Once again the grace of God came to the aid of Israel and helped them out of the hand of the opressor; Egypt. In the wilderness of the Sinai He (God) proposed to them the Covenant of Law. Insted of "humbly" pleading for a continued relation of grace, they presumptuously answered; "All that the Lord has spoken we will do." Well, as you see in the history of Israel; it has been one long flagrant consistant violation of the law. After multiple warnings God closed the "testing of man" by law in judgement, first in Israel and then Judah, were driven out of the land into a dispersion which continued.... til' 1948. A small remnant returned under Ezra and Nehemiah, of which, in due time, Christ came; "Born of a woman - made under the law." Which both Jews and Gentiles conspired to crucify. 1948 and the restoration of Israel as a nation state was a very important fulfilled prophecy to have taken place in order for the Lord Jesus to return and gather his church.
