Looks like all your links have left you ha ha ha ha So you want to be a liberal? Well get your head out of the sand, and look around at what your bretheren has done to this country. How about killing 34 million children before they were born? How about trying to keep me from protecting myself (and maybe you) with my own handgun? How about arresting me for saying NIGGER or Nice Tits because it offends you? How about taking away your own freedoms by passing more and more laws restricting what you can d (as well as what I can do?) You want communism? You want the government to take care of all your needs? Move to Russia! I hear it's illegal to be unemployed there. Of course you'll have to get a license just to watch TV, because the government needs o control such things. Oh by the way your daughter has been giving me blow jobs, but don't be concerned it's a private matter, and it doesn't effect what I do for a living.

This country has gone down hill ever since the "New Deal" mantle died with the "Great Society" in the late 1960s. As our government and news media become more and more concered with conspicuous consumption, what is left with the disenfranchised? Those w o are poor because of geographic area, parental neglect, or right wing intolorance. This country is on a downhill slide no matter what the stockmarket and the Dow might say. We have seen our better days. I just wish that the Republicans could win the c ngress and the presidency. Then America would see what a joke they really are. A new liberal mandate would come back just as it did after 1932 until 1968.

I was very impressed by your site, especially the IMHO page (sounded pretty conservative). I am making a conservative site and was looking for some quality "left-wing" sites, I hope you dont mind if I put in a link to your site. I was begining to think th only good sites on the left were ABC, CNN, MSNBC..... I look forward to the debate. Keep up the good work, the only chance this country has is the intelligent exchange of ideas by both sides. By the way, I took a test on www.bortz.com that said I was a b rderline conservative, libertarian, moderate (the moderate part surprised me). And one more thing for anyone that reads this, in the Constitution there is NO SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE! Thanks

Good to see the flame is still burning. Here in Britain, the Labour Party (left wing) has moved to the right, the Tory Pary (right wing) has moved to the left, and so all we're left to choose between is two very dull middle of the road parties. I've given up on party politics to concentrate on single issues (human rights for tribal peoples, anti-arms trade, mental health issues.) See you at the revolution.

I think someone lshould develop an extensive study of the relationships between the conservative foundations, corporate owners, right relaigious organizations and right and conservtive politcians. When I see the influence of the Heritage Foundation and the fact that one of it's board memebers, Richard Scaife, funds Pepperdine, where Starr was to be Dean of the law school,,,,the oligarchy is getting stronger. Scaife sits on the same board with J Coors , a real rectionary if there was one, and the president o Amway. These characters had Reagan in their pocket. This study should be developped into a documentary!!!!

Great page. One way we could drastically improve the American political system is to return to the idea of States rights. Let's let the elected officials know this and half of our problems would be solved.

I like your graphics and think you've done a good job. You say you are opposed to hate and that is wonderful. You must certainly be opposed to such hate groups as the naacp and n.o.w. and oppose the govt. sanctioned despotic racism of affirmative action. ou will surely stop your diatribes against Christianity since it is the only sane and loving institution today that HONESTLY believes and teaches hatred to be wrong. You love freedom so you must really be opposed to our current dictators. As you know, Lou s XIV would never have had the nerve to make each and every Frenchman account for every centime they earned and then confiscate 1/3 for tribute, nor would Ivan the Terrible have told the Russian shopkeepers who they could or couldn't hire.Kaiser Wilhelm, dolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin never dictated whether people could have a smoke or not. It is almost the end of the 20th century and our most precious and fundamental liberties are either going or gone. Private property is even threatened by the insane mo ocracy that rules our nation. Rights follow from our status as humans. Often times this point is neglected. We are the only species capable of defining the idea of rights, and the only species capable of exercising it. We, as humans, have rights, because we recognize life as a i>value--not because we exist, but because we exist rationally. Our application of value, which lies in our morality, is the one reason why animals cannot have rights, why granting a lion a "right" makes no more sense than giving a Nobel Prize to a mentally retarded six year old. Rights must be earned, and the only proper way to earn them is through reason.

I really appreciate this page. Had a blast filling out the questionnaire. I especially enjoyed reading the childish quotes from the Radical Right. Are you afraid, like I sometimes am, that America is heading for some Jihad-type holy wars like Iran, Ira , Israel, and other Mid-East countries? I want to shout at the Religious Political Extremists and say, "If you want a country run by religion move to Iran!!!" There was a time when many more countries were run by relious leaders -- it was called The Dar Ages. I am a minister/chaplain, but I know that religion has its place. It can't be voted into law. That is too close to what the Scribes and Pharisees did. It just doesn't work. Thanks for giving me a chance to rant for a while. Peace ... ---Rev. r. Jim Bilbrey, Ph.D., D.D.

I have looked at a number of conservative pages and see pictures of the movement leaders looking righteously at the camera. Then I look at your page and feel sorry that liberalism is so marginalized today that one must be photographed in a dark room as i in hiding. A while ago, a friend of mine wrote a letter to the editor of a weekly newspaper (one of those papers delivered free with advertising circulars). Her letter defended the right of picketers to protest the opening of a Rush Limbaugh kiosk in a local mall and criticized the paper for writing an editorial that mocked the picketers. She was not prepared for what resulted. Not only were there vehement letters in the following issue of the paper calling her everything from a communist to a feminis to a racist (racist? we wondered), but people went out of their way to look up her address so that they could send hate mail to her home. She was told she belonged in San Francisco or New York, not in fine, upstanding Columbus. One letter even came fro a post office box in Florida. I guess the writers got what they wanted. My friend has been disinclined to write any more letters to the editor. She also, after many calls, got the company to stop delivering the paper to her porch. Have other people h d this kind of overkill reaction to simple shows of liberalism?
