Following on from previous reports from the battlefield in Sheffield, England, 3 more War Veterans have died in their new fight with their local government.

Numbers are still unclear as to the total number lost since this war started, but those that are left, continue to fight on.

A deafening silence surrounds Sheffield City council while the councillors drag their feet in giving full disregard of War Disability Pensions. They treat the Veterans as 2nd class citizens, to be given no consideration in terms of rent benefits or the country's council tax.

Other minority groups receive the help they request, but mention a war hero and it's almost a taboo subject within the council chambers.

They continue to hide behind the pointing finger and cast the subject aside. How much longer will this country and others, stand and watch as the people who spent their youth fighting for peace and freedom, are continually abused and condemed?

Today, at 75 years and 85 years of age, the veterans fight the new battle to be given the rights that others are granted without question in the other local governments of the U.K.

I ask you, the ones with the ability to speak to the masses in your lands, what will you do? Stand for their rights, or point the finger to someone else?
