WarHeroes Logos & Banners

Ever since we started the site in May '97, our staff (volunteers really!) have wanted to present a more colour and graphic rich content but never had the time or the resources available to meet our imagination.

But, somehow we managed to amass a small collection of graphics and banners.

And as more and more web sites are publishing links to our site, we thought we should put them all in one place where other webmasters can view them and copy them to their own sites for linking to us.

You're welcome to copy these graphics and use them on your own site. If you would like to insert a link back to our site, please see below.

And here they are...

"The Struggle" - The first WarHeroes graphic.
The Struggle

"WarBanner" - Our first attempt at a LinkExchange banner.

"GeoWar" - We used this in several 'cousin' sites in late '97.
GeoWar

"The Full Disregard" - At about the same time as the movie, "The Full Monty" which
was also based in Sheffield.
Full Disregard

"AutoLink" - An automatically generated LinkExchange banner.
Never used.
AutoLink

"WarLogo" - Our new WarHeroes logo.

"WarLogo Small" - A slightly smaller version of our new logo.

Our very own "Poppy". We'd like to use a poppy graphic of those plastic/paper poppies sold in the UK.
If you have one, please e-mail us a copy, thanks.

"NewProtest" - A modified protest graphic which we later used to make the new banners.
Newprotest

"Victory!" - Our new FrontPage graphic to celebrate the Full Disregard of War Disabled Pensions in Sheffield.

First, select which of the WarHeroes logos you would like to use.

PC users, right click on the logo you want to use and select "Save image as" from the menu. Save the image to the folder of your choice, but remember where you put it!

Use HTML to place the image on your homepage. For example if the image is called image.gif and it is in the same directory as your home page, the HTML code would need to look like this:

<a href="http://geocities.datacellar.net/CapitolHill/Lobby/2219/"><img src="image.gif"></a>

That's all.
