Dec29--In what can only be termed extremely tragic and horrifying a third sindhi primeminister killed in rawalpindi was buried at garhi khuda bakhsh near larkana amid thousands of mourners...benazir bhutto died when an assassin riding a motorbike first shot than detonated a suicide vest...her head hit a window and damaged her head and brains while a shot probably went thru her throat...she probably died instantly in her pajero as she waved to the crowds from a sun roof after addressing a PPP jalsa at liaqatbagh...30 others also died in the blast...newspaper reports and the ministry of interior suggest an al qaeda and baitullah mehsud link...they say they overheard a conversation between some maulana and baitullah mehsud congratulating each other...others however suggest the involvement of teh army and its political wing teh PMLq...the PMlq had used debateable tactics against her and were worried at losing almost all their seats...in another attack seven PMLn supporters were killed in rawalpindi after they were attacked by a PMLq candidate...the army quick to retaliate when it is itself attacked had only palliatives for the second heinous attack on benazir bhutto...many suggested that the PMLq and the army had found a new way to kill its opponents...musharaf was seen tobe trying to gain political mileage from the incident despite ordering no actions against teh supposedly known perpretrators...an alqaeda statement says that an LJ punjabi volunteer carried out the attack while others insist that the man was a pukhtun...no other major leader has died in the suicide attacks which makes it very suspicious...
