We only have a few rules here:
Now that we've resolved this, we can get into it.
Left and Right went online April 10, 1997 to allow publication of some editorials that we wanted out. The main reason was a piece by Mike McCarthy, and the reaction to it, at Bishop Ireton High School. It was founded by Mike McCarthy and William Schlickenmaier at Ireton. Since then, Will and Mike both graduated, and moved on. Mike is currently studying at James Madison University, and Will is at Georgetown University. The latest incarnation of Left and Right is based at Georgetown, and features Schlickenmaier and fellow freshmen Matt Rassette, Laura Phillips and Ryan Erlich.

Mike McCarthy comes to us from a bit left-of-center, although he doesn't trust anyone.
He comments on everything from Bill Clinton to New CokeŠ, whatever he thinks of. And his style? Think of Dennis Miller in high school. He's moved on now, but his stuff is certainly worth reading.
