A Mission Statement

Something that makes us all human is conspicuously absent from business today. The "Qualms." The love. We're not doing this because we have it - we're doing it to make money - to be responsible. That is what I love about Jerry Maguire. It is what I feel.

Business here has lost touch with its concern about profit margins and overhead and returns, and that's what angers and sickens me so about Mrs. McBride and business in general. They just don't care. "If your heart is empty, what's in your head just doesn't matter." It doesn't. Nothing matters to them - they're just in it for themselves. It's when you go all out for someone else that you know what love really is - and other people can see that and know that too.

When that emanates from you, you get the "Qualm": the love, the respect, the money, the success, the everything. That is what makes us human. That is what is missing from business today. The bottom line can't feel. The bottom line can't cry, can't laugh, can't burn, can't scream, can't love.

We have sacrificed what makes us who we are for what gives us what we want. We can't let that dominate us. We are human. We do feel. We cry, laugh, burn, scream and love. And in the end, what can be said more of Man that that he was true to that which he is. Don't let what you want get in the way of who you are. "Trust thyself. Every heart vibrates to that iron string." Follow your heart, and peace will follow you. Peace from the mind, direction from the heart, guidance from the head, happiness from the soul.

Godspeed,
