C.F.C. 98-021 Amendment to CFC 98-015, the Patent Office Law

Section 2. Patents are to be submitted to the Head of the Patent Office together with a ~600 registration fee.

Section 2.1.  After due consideration and review, the the Head of the Patent Office  will grant the patent which will remain effective for a period of five years.

Section 3. Suspected patent infringements are to be reported to the Minister of Justice for review and possible litigation. Should the Minister of Justice conclude sufficient evidence exists for a possible civil case, he/she may demand resolution  by arbitration. If criminal acts are involved in the potential infringement, the Minister of Justice may file criminal charges against the infringer.


C.F.C. 98-022 Kernsopolis Equal Rights Act of 1998

Section 1. During the next general election following enactment of this law, a referendum shall appear on the ballot for Kernsopolite citizens. This referendum will be a question regarding the political status of the citizens of Kernsopolis, phrased as follows:

    "Should Kernsopolis...
     a) remain a territory
     b) integrate itself into Belar"

    Section 2. Should a majority of Kernsopolites support option B, Kernsopolis shall become a fully integrated part of Belar, and its citizens shall have the rights of every other citizen of a province. However, it will have a government lead by a mayor, and Cyberian citizens shall have the right to move to Kernsopolis, rather than the rest of Belar or any other province. Also, should the option be chosen, the government of Belar shall arrange degree of home rule that is acceptable to the citizens of Kernsopolis.


C.F.C. 98-023 Windsor Provincehood Act

Section 1. Admission
The Territory of Windsor Islands be admitted as a Province of the Commonwealth under Section 3 of Article 4 of the Constitution.

Section 2. Referendum and Constitution
This Act shall not commence unless and until a referendum of the people of the Territory ratifies this Act and adopts a Constitution for the new Province.

Section 3. Presidential Action
The President shall cause the referendum under Section (2) to be held as soon as practicable. 1
