President Kerns returns after completing hardware repairs, and annouces his intentions to restore "law and order" to Cyberia, first with a peace treaty with Cyberland.

Socialist Deputy Mike Jones elected Speaker of the Assembly; Deputy Mike Rosario convicted of criminal negligence, attempted obstruction of justice and attempted bribery.

Rosario leaves Cyberia, starts Communist micronation of East Cyberia.

Sporadic rioting in Mala Province and Windsor Islands Territory instigated by Communist agents under command of former Deputy Travis Dandy. Federal troops under Minister of Defense Tim Dunkin restore order in both Mala and Windsor by August 3.

August 4-5, 1998
Speaker Jones and the Malan branch of the Socialist Party resign from Cyberia, declare "Workers' Republic of Mala and Windsor," and join East Cyberia. Acting President Vadim Pokotilov names emergency governors: Scott Rosen in Mala and Jason Kovacs in Windsor. The situation in both places remains calm and the riots cease with the continued presence of Federal troops.

August 10, 1998
Minister of Defense Tim Dunkin creates Terra Novum as Sementia collapses, but stays on as a dual citizen of Cyberia.

August 17, 1998
MoD Dunkin wins a landslide election for governor of Menet, bringing closure to the chaos left by the Communist regime of Mike Rosario. This and the "Revolucion" marks a right-ward shift in Cyberia that may forever weaken radical politics.
