I am sitting here and it is the end of another long work day and I am tired. I wonder if any of this really matters. I have been collecting data on Iraq and the Media and trying to move the mountain. And I keep thinking to myself of how when I was very young I thought there could be a revolution. Alas, the organizations have fundraising on their minds and public relations in their sights. How does one relate to a government that is committing genocide? Alas, we are the small people. However, we know that even the small people can sometimes win a victory. We strive for that victory. I read in the Qur'an, I an american convert to a path of peace easily misunderstood within and without, about the story of Yusuf (Surah 12) It all seems clear to me we are the caravan, the American Government are Yusuf's brothers, the UN General Assembly Yusuf's father, Saddam Hussein is Yusuf's master, Yusuf's shirt was torn by her, and Yusuf...Yusuf...
Yusuf are those innocent young Iraqi children thrown down the well into the darkness of modern greed... Only I wonder why our caravan is so small? RETURN TO Campaign 1
