The Peace and Freedom Party considers the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) a "corporate tool" that is "no friend of Israel or the United States," and urges attendance at the demonstration for an end to the Israeli occupation scheduled for June 10, 2007 in Washington, DC, as stated in resolutions adopted in February.
The resolutions were adopted by overwhelming votes on February 25 at the California State Central Committee meeting of the party in Los Angeles.

We further urge our members and supporters to sign the on-line petition that will be presented to Congress, by going to the website of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation at http://www.endtheoccupation.org and following the prompts. Our State Central Committee hopes that the rally and petition campaign serve as effective reminders that more and more Americans are coming to support real peace and justice in the Middle East, and oppose the continuing occupation that prevents peace.
The "American Israel Public Affairs Committee" (AIPAC) is a corporate tool designed to force politics in both Israel and the United States to the right, to the detriment of the working people of both countries, and to oppose peace and justice in the Middle East, promoting imperialist adventures and war preparations in both Israel and the United States. Its major supporters are no friends of the American or Israeli people. AIPAC has been implicated in scandal after scandal during the past year. And yet, elected leaders of the U.S. Congress plan to attend the AIPAC "Gala Banquet" planned for March 12, 2007 at the DC Convention Center.
The California State Central Committee of the Peace and Freedom Party endorses the demonstration on March 12 planned by the DC Anti-War Network and other sponsors entitled "Congress, Stand Up to AIPAC." We further endorse the campaign of telephone calls and e-mails directed to Senate leaders Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, asking that they not attend the banquet.
