These essays were published in French between 1969 and 1972, then in English by Black & Red, Detroit, USA, 1974. Gilles Dauvé (pen name: Jean Barrot) wrote the 1st and 3rd essays, and did the editing. The 2nd text is by François Martin. Texts, introductions, notes and appendix have been revised.
