SCHOOL ON BT'S DISCIPLINE PROCEDURES
23-24 SEPTEMBER 1997

There will be a one and a half day school on 23-24 September 1997 at GMB National College, Manchester. This revised school aims to assist Branch Officers and Committee members in:

• Handling discipline cases
• Cases involving the BT Investigation Division
• Handling Poor Performance and Long-term Illness cases and Grievances - Independent Reviews

The school will start at 12.00 noon on 23 September and finish at 4.00 pm on 24 September 1997. Overnight accommodation on 23 September will be provided. Travelling, subsistence and accommodation expenses will be paid by Head Office and paid leave should be claimed. In addition, the union will reimburse reasonable costs of care for children, other dependent relatives or partners, necessarily incurred as a result of attending this school.

Branch Officers and Committee members who may have attended a previous school are encouraged to attend for a refresher! Please send applications to Frances Moss, Education Unit, 75-79 York Road, London SE1 7AQ to arrive no later than FRIDAY 22 August 1997.
