Following the successful ICEMU Meeting of European Unions, reported to Conference in H3, the STE is sponsoring Concert and News Corporation - The Impact of a World Alliance on UK Multimedia Workers on Saturday 1 November 1997 at TUC, Congress House, Great Russell Street, London WC1. The seminar is also being sponsored by the NUJ and BECTU, as two other unions with members involved in this global alliance and as part of the on-going relationship envisaged in 010 of this year’s Report to Conference.

This seminar is also being publicised in the September issue of The Review. The number of places is strictly limited, so if you or any of your members wish to apply for a place, please let my office know by 24 September 1997.

If the seminar is well received, we may consider running further ones of this or related issues.
