REVIEW OF THE STE

It was announced to Annual Conference last week that the Executive Council is to carry out a review of the union, its priorities and purpose and the structure and resources we need in order to provide a first class service to members.

We need to ask some key questions:

• What do the members want?
• Are we providing that effectively?
• What can we do better?

The Council would welcome input from branches. If there is something that the Council ought to look at as part of this review then please let us know.

Branches are invited to make written submissions by either Email or post, which should be at Head Office by 16 July. It would be very helpful if you could send us any submissions as early as possible before 16 July so that all issues can be included in the programme for an EC seminar which is being organised now.
