Mary Ellen Ring, Chairperson, is a senior barrister, whose commitment to the unmet needs of children has been extensively proved by the time and expertise which she has already given to this issue.
Frank Murphy, is an executive member of Civil Legal Aid Board which is a limited State service to low-income persons.
Eoin O'Sullivan, is a research fellow in Trinity College Dublin, specializing in Child Care issues.
Fr. Peter McVerry, has been working with children at risk for over twenty years, both in the Inner City of Dublin and Ballymun, a high rise estate with multiple deprivation ,where he also lives.

The only salary being paid is that of the legal advisors.
