If anything, you should research a bit more...India is not an up and coming power. In fact, the country is crippled. Ju t because one-fifth of Earth's population and a few nuclear weapons lie within its borders does not mean that India is anywhere near becoming important on the world scene. Speaking coldly, yet truthfully, one can say that India is, at best one of the top hird world nations out there. Thus your ideas of India are not rascist, but ethnocentric. One in the American west cannot claim that the west is better now than it was before everyone started claiming Manifest Destiny. Public comprehension of the situatio in India and China fall into the same gap.
