This website was created several years ago while I was a member of the US Navy. Unfortunately, this page never materialized into the site we dreamed of. We had hoped to put photos of "real" Navy life, such as the nasty heads, hazing, and the dark side of liberty call. Time is of the essence and we have very little to spare.

I am still dedicated to keeping this site available for people to share their thoughts and experiences. I am commited to posting both positive and negative experiences on this site (although the negative responses far out-number the positive).

I believe in Free Speech (even if the Navy doesn't). Since I am no longer obligated to the military, I am not afraid to post any feedback I receive. I do edit some of the messages to protect the identities of individuals posting negative messages about the Navy. This is usually accomplished by ommiting the names of specific ships and some departments.

Normally, I will not publish the email addresses of people that provide feedback to this site. Exceptions to this are messages that attack me personally or attempt to convey a threat. In these cases I am eager to post your email address so the spam-bots will pick up your name.

I am just created a guestbook to provide an outlet for visitors comments and experiences. This will reduce some of the guilt I've had for not maintaining this site.

It is my hope that visitors will see this site for what it really is.... a resource for sharing experiences and comments on the Navy. Our country is experiencing success unimagined 10 years ago, there are other options than military service. This site should provide some of the reasons to reconsider naval service (that the recruiter didn't mention).

That's all! 1
